"Fruity Flapjacks"
200gms Porridge Oats
4 Level tbsp Golden Syrup
75g Demerara Sugar
100gms Margarine
75gms Dried Fruit - currants, cherries, apricots, etc.

Preheat oven to Gas Mark 4/180c.

Grease an 18cm square shallow tin.

Place the margarine, sugar and syrup in a saucepan and heat gently until the sugar and margarine have dissolved. Then stir in the oats and fruit.

Press into the tin and cook until golden and set (30-40 minutes).
5.
Leave to cool for 5 mins. Mark into fingers. Leave until completely cool before removing from the tin.
